Some friends of mine passed on their old modeling paints to me. Some are still mixed, others appear to have seperated. Can anything be done to remix the seperated paints?

Thanks for the memories. :)

shake them?

a bit of paint thinner and a good wrist. I've done ok with that method but beyond that I wouldn't know.

If the paint is solid, it's probably useless. Even if you could remix it, you'd be stuck with too many solid paint flecks for it to be useful on a mini.

If it's still liquid, you have a chance. I have a bunch of small pebbles that I stick in my paint containers as shakers. Try stirring with a toothpick, add a rock, perhaps some water if it's a little dry (not too much!).

Thanks. I guess I'll just keep what is still mixed and ditch the rest. No big loss, I didn't pay for any of it. It looks like some brands kept their mix and others didn't, so I'll just remember that when I am paint shopping again.

Thanks for the memories. :)
