| Very nice. Is that NMM or metallic paints? I've been repainting a Marut using NMM and it's taking forever (so much detail).

Well, both. It's more experimenting with mixing metal paints with opaque paints. It's the first time I've tried this technique with bronze; it's a little too coppery for my tastes.

Mixing metallics and opaques is tricky but can yield some great results. In general I prefer painting with a mixture rather than plain metallics. The darker bits are rather coppery but I like the contrast with the brighter toned accents [:D] | | Knight Warlord a.k.a. Commander (#32) in only 6 months. Where's my pie? I don't mind the copperiness at all. I have a Marut in my repaint-queue right now and you have inspired me to shift him nearer the fron.
