Well, both. It's more experimenting with mixing metal paints with opaque paints. It's the first time I've tried this technique with bronze; it's a little too coppery for my tastes.

Mixing metallics and opaques is tricky but can yield some great results. In general I prefer painting with a mixture rather than plain metallics. The darker bits are rather coppery but I like the contrast with the brighter toned accents [:D] | |
