| I finally had made enough pieces to make molds. And - I once again misevaluated the amount of silicon rubber needed, and run out of it. Right now I have two small ready molds waiting (if everything went well with them, I haven't opened them yet), one large mold that isn't quite ready (with the parts I wanted to have most) and one piece without silicon at all. Last time I ordered silicon it took 3-4 months to arrive. Argh, so close to having molds of those pieces I've been making for a long time, but still unusable!

Some for AAM, some for DDM - no Star Wars this time.
Maybe I can get something ready with the pieces I got ready now, but major stuff will still wait [:(] | |

| Typically I used way to much silicone when I first started making molds. Then I started to determine the volume of the mold based on LxWxH. I have gotten much better at the determination of the amounts of rubber:catalysts ratios.
Have you checked out the community mold project:
Give it a look and see what you think. They are always looking for things to incorporate into a new mold....[)]
