| I've been wanting a Large Gold Dragon since Dragoneye. The Large Red is the most powerful of the chromatics, so I figured WOTC would do the Gold next, as it is the most powerful of the metallics. But each set came and went and so far nada.
The way I figure it, we have to wait for a Large Green, Large Black, Large White (non-zombified), Large Brass, and Large Gold. So far we have 10 sets out, with an average of 1 Large metallic/chromatic every second set or so. 5 have been done (Red, Silver, Blue, Copper, & Bronze). If it takes another 10 sets to get another 5 Large dragons, and there is 3 sets a year, that will be another 3 1/3 years to get the last one. Murphy's Law would place that Large Gold Dragon being the last one, to be released in July 2009. That's a long wait.
Of course, I could be wrong and we'll have one in 3 months time. | |

| I don't think it will take quite that long to finish off the Large Dragons--Something tells me that we'll be getting multiple Large Dragons in WDQ.
Green has been "hinted" for some time as coming soon, and I doubt that we'd get an "unbalanced" Dragon-themed set--It'd send too many folks of the deep end. [:D] | |

A large green would be cool, as I use them in RPG all the time. A huge green would even be better. I figure we're going to get at least 2 huge dragons with at least one of them being Aspect of Tiamat (or AoT and 2 huge dragons). In the last huge set we got the 2 most powerful of the dragons (ie red and gold), so hopefully we'll get the second most powerful dragons - Huge Blue and Huge Silver. What does everyone else think? Place your bets!
I'm also hoping for an Uncommon Huge White Dragon. That way I can collect 10 of them and paint each one a different colour! | |

DM's running a certain Adventure Path need multiples of each of these three miniatures, so it would generate some extra sales for WOTC if they happened to time the release of these particular color/size combinations for chromatic dragons right. | |

| I wouldn't be surprised by a Large Black--I was flipping through a certain adventure and saw a use for just such a beast.
And someone, who may or may not be referring to half-a-dozen possibilities pointed out that a campaign of his had a special miniature guest set up at the end of his Tac-Tiles to remind his players where they were headed...
Funny how things like that work out. Especially given that particular individual's tendency to hate his players. | |
