Inspired by others on MaxMinis, I picked up some extra Timber Wolves from Auggies and pulled out a back blade goblin, and well....

I pinned them, with the pin permantly in the goblin, but removable from the "worg" (I have way more goblins than I do wolves/worgs).
My first mod or touchup, so hopefully they'll get better as I go :)

Thanks. I did notch out the top fur where the goblin is seated. I also notched out the goblin's tunic to sit down further on the wolf's back. (I also shaved some of the goblin's sword and hilt-- never has looked right to me.) The gob's legs are just a little wide apart so they don't quite fit snug against the sides of the wolf.

| Here's the whole unit of worg riders:

I did a little more dry-brushing on the wolves and addded eye coloring for a more worg-like look.
Peace,

| Very cool conversion! They seem to have turned out very well.
But I must say, it makes my crotch hurt just looking at them, though. [xx(] | | Champion of the Revenant Knight of the Elf Duskblade Complete Trades: Oni, Kidkach, Melrune, callidusx3

| Thanks all.
Cthulhufnord: Yeah, I was just looking at that. Maybe some head re-positioning and color touches on the goblins as well.

| Nice work :)
One worg rider alone is a mere scout. The whole pack together is far more intimidating. So much so in fact that I've had to go and order a pack of wolves and blackblades myself (the size and rarity of Snig2 are both very disappointing).
Once converted and painted I'll bring them along and together we can...conquer the world, bwa-ha-haaaa!!! ;)
I agree that a wee bit of variety would just set them off perfectly. I'll see what I can do (damnit, now I have to do some clever converting).
Edit: I was so excited about this excellent idea I went ahead immediately and got to work with a knife. An hour later, two pinned, glued - but as yet unpainted - worg-riders grace my collection.
I had a look through my goblins for any others I had many multiples of: the goblin adept leapt out so he's now mounted too (though I didn't have as much success as I'd have liked re-posing his arms - I wanted him gesturing ahead with his spear while pointing in more or less the same direction). Photos as soon as I can get decent batteries in my camera [:)].

| Okay, pretty cool. So when are we crossing the border into the Goblin Nation?
Does Dai'Sharr get a favored enemy bonus from this info?
