| I love the Lizard coloring. The more I look at this mini the more I am OK with the fact that the Lizard is bipedal.
And I agree with username, seeing grass + Mounted Drow makes my head asplode. [:P]

| I really like the Dragonne, you definetely did an improvement on it. It looks so much better and I really love the terrain under it, nice touch.
The Mounted Drow Patrol still looks too bright for my tastes. While I can deal with the original one somewhat, yours almost seems to highlight the brightness, if that makes any sense. The underside seems to really grab the eye, and I always assumed the lizards in the underdark would be reathh dark and dull coloring, more to not attract the eye.
Still a wonderful painting tho, I'd be happy with any of those. | |

| wow, phenominal work on the checker-pattern. Most impressed.
The only minor nitpick I have is that the Rider and the horse are too close to being the same color, it may be the photo.
Of course, that kinda thing has bugged me since I was 5 and coloring in coloring books. I never tried to have the same color in two adjacent sections of the page...so maybe it's just me. | |

| Although I appreciate the level of insanity [)] skill in making the chekcred pattern, I don't think it looks good on the mini, mostly on the shield. The horse, the armor, the blade, all colors seem to blend with each other a bit too much too.

| The amount of detail on the Mounted Paladin is cool but I'm not sure I like the design overall. It's probably just the fact that I never liked the sculpt. Maybe if you had a closer pic from more angles I'd dig it more.

| Nice Pete. I jut caught the Mounted Paladin bit in the title and had t ocheck back in. That is one of the cleanest checkerboard patterns I've seen.
While he doesn't have alot of colors, what you have pulled off is really amazing - working without a strong color pallet and making the figure remain interesting (maybe the gold counts in this case...). Well done! | | | |

| I agree with all the criticism on the Mounted Paladin. I don't think I'm very good at doing mounted horses; I've done two now and neither have turned out as well as I would have liked. I don't like the color palette that I chose; I didn't want to do a brown horse to make sure it looked different from the original, and I didn't want to do blue to make it different from the original.
First time I've done a checkered pattern; it went a lot faster than I expected. | |

Yeah, the detail for the face of the MDP's drow is poor. The rest of the figure is good, but faces are very important to give a figure any personality. Fortunately the lizard's face is pretty good. | |

| I think the main problem with the checks is the size--unless the Paladin is trying to distract his foe (which doesn't seem very Paladin-like to me...[)]). I think that checks twice the size would have been better.
Other than that, I would have used a different color (red, green, a bright blue, etc.)--eh, who am I kidding? I wouldn't have had the stones to even attempt the checks.
It's top-notch work, no matter what, though. | |
