I've got a character in a D&D game who just isn't suited to any minis out there. I have ordered a few different minis which are somewhat close that I plan to try and mod, but since I have never done such before, I'd also like to go ahead and ask for 'professional' (or at least more experienced) aid....

The character is an obese human warlock who devotes himself to the pleasures of the flesh while not adventuring. He loves to eat, smoke, drink, fornicate, etc. and has a very egotistical (but still mostly congenial and friendly) manner. I know most of that isn't necessarily relevant, but it can help with the details depending on how much detail is put into him.

He stands 5'5" tall, and weighs 274 pounds. His hair is a reddish brown and he has violet eyes. His skin is pale, and his bulk is much more fat than muscle. He sweats profusely in the coolest environs.

He generally wears courtier's clothing with custom made studded leather integrated into it, along with a large cape or small cloak. He carries no weapons anywhere on his person (relying perhaps too much on his eldritch blast and other invocations), and dresses in rich purples, with blues, reds, and golds (gold fabric as well as jewelry and adornments). He is usually seen with a large pipe in one hand, filled with exotic tobaccos or other herbs. He worships Sharess (from the FR pantheon) and usually incorporates her symbol (a pair of scarlet lips) on his sleeves and cuffs, etc.

I would imagine his stance to be standing with feet shoulder width apart, knees slightly bent (as a normal overweight human stands - not as if he were squatting), one hand (left) mopping his brow with a handkerchief and the other holding a smoking pipe up near his head, as if he plans on taking a puff as soon as he finishes wiping his forehead.

Please let me know if you would like to make something like this for me, and if so how much you would charge to do so.

Thanks!

This is a good picture of a similar concept; while not my character he has the same basic build, though Mirt (the picture) seems a bit more muscular and not quite as fat as my character is... especially noticable in the face which seems stocky but not fat...

Reaper Dark Heaven Miniature (Ghoul) - Garravank, Ghoul seems to be just about right as a base, though I don't know if it is medium sized or not. I'm ordering a couple, since my attempts on the bloodhulks were horrible (and I am hoping it is more to do with the plastic base not being as easy to work with, and less a display of my lack of talent, lol)...

Since I am at work right now the "Mirt" pic is not coming through. Is it a Reaper mini? If not where is the fig from (i.e. company) I might have a better idea with something to look at.

Over all making a mini is a lot harder than just taking an existing one and making it a conversion (mod). Just my two cents...but please give the info on the "mirt". As it would be easier from my POV to cut and snip and add to it as opposed to a scratch build...thanks!!

Mirt is a FR character (someone will correct me if I'm wrong). The picture is just concept art from Wizards' art gallery. Mirt isn't a mini anywhere (yet). He's a fat guy (rotund is the word, I believe) in a cloak/robes holding a coin pouch.
