Ok...now before you guys get TOO harsh, I made these at least 5 years ago...maybe longer. Based them on the Monster Manual II illustrations. Yes...the first ed one! [:p] Used super sculpy. Had planned on doing all the various types. Got kind of sidetracked. Might restart now that I am a better sculptor and have access to things other than sculpey . Enjoy!

Monodrones.

Nifty... what are Modrons again? :-P Guessing they have to have a lot of spells and spell like abilities. I don't see a lot of arms to smash things with.

Looking to buy some figures? Chances are I may have them!! Check here!!

Modrons are constructs/outsiders native to the Clockwork Nirvana of Mechanus.

They're usually polyhedral in shape.

Other than that, all I know is that there was one in Planescape: Torment called Nordom.

Nordom = Modron backwards. He was a rogue modron.

hee-hee.

Those are cool, Thokk. I've always been a little sad that WotC have left Modrons of the table.

Thanks. Yeah, I was bummed they left them out too. At least they have 3.0 stats in the online supplement :) And the guy from Planescape was funny.

A lot of us "olde tymers" wish Modrons hadn't received the business end of the editorial axe, but that's just the way things work.

I would presume that the Powers That Be over at Wizards decided that machines/androids were cooler than the cold precision of geometry. However, Mechanus shouldn't be "cool" it should be cold, precised and unconcerned about anything but Order.

The Decaton and Nonaton look like they're on the Large side of things--the others appear to be Medium.

Thanks all. These are actually all medium. The Decaton is hanging off a medium base...tried to paint it like a gear....all those spare mage knight ones I have from cutting off the minis might work....[:D]

haha they really bring back some nostalgia. I always think of them as being in square shape, but I like the triangle one a lot too. The round ones look too much like Beholders for my taste. But still, to see modrons again is definetely a nice feeling.. good job man =)

Yeah...a lil hard to get sizing right between them. I actually used a d6 and a d4 for the quadrone and tridrone. Maybe I will work on some more/finish these on my upcoming vacation [:D]

Very cool! I have to jump on the bandwagon and agree that we need modrons to return....much more so than we needed Tiamat spawn.[)]
