| With the upcoming release of Blood Wars I was inspired to post my collection of Ral Partha demons and devils. Many of them are from 1995 or earlier. Some have been made for DDM, and if so I have put them next to their new incarnations. Otherwise I used a recent DDM mini for scale (arcanix guard in this case). Sure alot of you might have never seen these before, especially if you aren't at least in your early 30s (me [:D]). I will also be posting threads for Forgotten Realms (el, seven sisters, etc), Dragonlance (draconians, heroes, takhisis) and Genereal monsters (beholder, chimera, etc). Many of these are STILL unpainted, but I am working on that! And some of these I painted years ago, so the quality not up to my current standards. But suggestions ALWAYS welcome! Enjoy!

Molydeus. Not sure if he has made it to 3.0 or 3.5. They were demonic enforcers to keep other demons in line. Have a dancing vorpal axe. Always fun for the whole party!
Gelugon. Will he be in Blood wars???

| Although I never liked the heads on the Molydeus, I think that the Vorpal Axe might be fun...
I like the noose held behind the Erinyes' back--it's a nice touch to the fig.

I particularly like the sculpts of the marilith, molydeus, gelugon and dretches. Those poor dretches [:(]
If I could track them down I'd definitely pick them up. I'm guessing they went out of production over a decade ago though, right?

| It's nice to see some of these old Ral Partha sculpts getting some lovin' after all these years.
I have to say that if they were more to scale with the current game descriptions for the monsters, I'd be hunting some of these down myself.

| Direbadger- most of these have a stamp of 1995 on them. Only reason I have them all is because I had the combo of the wonderful world of credit and then excess from my student loans! [:p] Not sure where you would go to find them. Don't see them listed on Ebay anymore, but you sometimes see old stuff.
Rune-Thanks! Alot of them are in scale. A few need to be put on bigger bases (like the pit fiend) but that is more for stability and aesthetics than scale. And maybe we will get some good replacements soon! | |
