| WOW !! So many excellent paint jobs. I've been sooo busy that I missed the entire contest. But thanks again smithmeg for organizing the event. Hopefully, I won't miss the next one. There will be a next one right?

| | With WotDQ Uncommons being so ... Rare ... I think there are a number of good Common sculpts in this set that would make interesting candidates for a painting challenge - Aasimar, Dire Rat, Doom Fist Monk, Trog, Pirate. Though the Greenspawn would be a great Uncommon to repaint. | | http://www.maxminis.com/hwlist.asp?user=DarkWhite [for trade only within Australia, no overseas trade thanks] | |

| I think most of the Uncommons from WDQ would be good. However not all of them. I wouldn't want to see a Huge used for the next contest, and I wouldn't want to see one of the clear plastics or Dragons used, either. That still leaves some pretty solid choices.
* Cleric of Syreth * Bonded Fire Summoner * Warden of the Wood * Wererat Rogue * Poison Dusk Lizardfolk * Demonic Gnoll Archer * Ogre Skirmisher * Yuan-Ti Halfblood Sorcerer
But many of the Commons are also good choices, too.
* Aasimar Fighter * Azer Fighter * War Ape * Dread Warrior * Cleric of Laogzed
Of course, my opinion here is really moot though as I didn't win last time. It's up to taliesin [:)] | | Champion of the Werewolf Lord, Knight of Anything Duergar, and Squire of Things Gnollish List reset with the start of previews for each new set...got Chainmail®?

| Thanks for sharing, smithmeg. I was beginning to think that you'd forgotten about your own contest!
I like the look of the white on the BGB's "armor". It's a look I should have carried on with after painting the axe on mine to look somewhat like bone.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work! | | Champion of the Werewolf Lord, Knight of Anything Duergar, and Squire of Things Gnollish List reset with the start of previews for each new set...got Chainmail®?

| Thanks CotCB - eventually I managed to finish it. It was very annoying - this green was the third colour I tried on the kilt - the first 2 just didn't work. Depending on what end up doing on the weekend, there's a vague possibility that the Frost Dwarf might be finished sometime soon too. | | | |

| I would love to see some older Uncommons chosen for the next contest. Not Harbinger, DragonEye or Archfiends due to the difficulty in getting most of their Uncommons. But certain GoL Uncommons and just about any from Abberations on would probbley be alright. I would esecially like to see some Large Uncommons chosen for one of these Challenges so that we don't have to get Eye-Strain while painting[:p]
