June is ending soon, and so is time to participate in Terragenesis 'ruins' modelling contest. I'm taking part with my new AAM terrains. I don't have much time for the rest of the week and I don't know how much I can get ready, but I already have 8 buildings ready. I haven't put yesterday's pics online yet, so I only have WIP pics from most of the stuff, but you can see them from the below link and I'll post more soon.

Those look awesome! Even better considering the scale!

Wow! The fire and smoke coming from the buildings look incredible! Is that steel wool? How did you paint the fire portion?

Thanks again!

Smoke is regular black wool - you can see it in half-phase in wip -pics. I've sprayed the top parts with white spraypaint, and added filler/wood glue mixture with pigment powders to the bottom part of the smoke pillars. Oh, and first they are glued to 1mm wire.

Amazing work, as usual. The river looks great. I particularly like the buildings on the opposite side of the river (undamaged ones). As Chris said, with the scale, this is even more impressive.

Thanks again, Whitewind & Wolfgang!

Whitewind, I saw your eariler terrains but got to check your Bulge -pics just now. Great stuff! I wondered for a long time to which scale should the terrains be made into. While your scale doesn't allow much detail in buildings etc (which is also a blessing ) it allows really astoundishing scenery! I remember admiring your cows in the terrain, such details are great!

Btw, I'm soon going to add one or two pics of an actual game to the pics. I think I should do some rearranging with my homepages & pics again - but that automated gallery -software has been a real blessing for putting up pics, even if I have to edit some pics, especially colours manually, it saves a LOT of work - in updating galleries too if I keep originals of a gallery in one place.
