| This is along the same lines as the fire elemental/light suggestion.
I only have one Fang dragon, so I'm not going to try this, but:
Remember how Lidda said that the Fang dragon's sculpt was changed at the factory? its head was originally pointing down, but they made it face up? if you look at the artwork on the card, you can see how the dragon's head is meant to face. Does anybody think that it might be a good idea to reposition the head? Getting the spines on the back of the Fang dragon's neck to line up will be pretty difficult, but the end result could look good.
The Fang dragon doesn't have a bad sculpt, but its pose makes it impossible to photograph it well.
(EDIT)
Check that: Boiling water and a lot of time should let you flex the head and neck to reposition them. | | Owner of The Original Rust Monsters! | | Yeah, I said knife until I got a closer look at the dragon. If I get a double, I might try to boil it and clamp it in place to see what happens. | | Owner of The Original Rust Monsters! | ya i used a cup of hot water to fix mine in one session
i put the water in for 2 min 30 seconds
ran hot water from the sink onto the neck until the microwave was done
then stuck the head and neck into the hot water cup. it stayed in for maybe 30 seconds as i got a cup of ice water going.
i took the dragon out, bent the neck easily, held it that way in the ice water and ta-da
it hasnt bent back on its own yet, ill post tomorrow if it stays. | | trade refs:http://www.maxminis.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=23164 | |
