Hi All,
I finished the bases and made some highlight touch-ups on the WOTC Fire Giant and Displacer Beast. Let me know what you think, as I plan on putting them up for auction on ebay and could use some constructive critiques, (be gentle with me !).

By the way, sorry about the quality of some of the shots.
I'll be taking some new ones for the auction.

Great job on the displacer beast and new base.
Sorry, but the fire giant does not look like it was done by the same person. If you are going to be selling it on ebay and want to get a good price then I'd repaint. Take a look at the fire giant minis from Giant of Legend for painting ideas.
I like the idea of the added bases. You did a great job blending the base for the displacer beast. For the fire giant however it's base doesn't blend very well with your created base. Just add some matching ground cover so it looks more natural.

just a tip for the fire giant maybe make the armor a different color so it doesn't seem so dark. The skin has to be dark I get that but maybe do it in a metal color for the armor. It will really bring the mini look up to the displacer beast.
Great job by the way...

Thanks,
I was trying to go by the description in the Monster Manual that states the Fire Giant often blackens his armor. I'll have to rethink it though, because I agree it's all too uniform.
