| 1st question: Where did you dig up the elephants? They look very nice
2nd question: Where's the howdah of gnomes?
Tangent: Since you posted the old elephant I've been working on my giant spider/drow howdah. Hopefully I'll have it finished before Christmas. | | Knight Warlord a.k.a. | Ya know, I'm still not sure what's gonna fill that there Howdah! It might be Goblins even...
Anyway, I'm building it from scratch out of real wood veneer strips that I cut by hand and am gluing up. When it's done I'll show the completed piece.
As for the Elephants, I got them at Michaels, a craft and art supply store in Long Island. I paid $5.99 each, but for the detail and scale, I felt they were worth it. In fact, they usually have coupons in the paper for like 40% off any one item, so next time, I'll get them cheaper. They get them from another company, that I forgot the name of, and are displayed with an entire shelf of various types of animals and sea life.
Oh, and P.S. I got some real cheap, and perfect for size, Spiders that I too will convert. Let's compare when we finish : ) | | | |

| Nice, hope people have more massive war mounts in the future. Elephants are classic (and very, VERY cool such as your method) but wouldn't hurt to see some others. War whale, anyone? | | Champion of the Prismatic Golem

| Thanks All, I mostly use the War Elephant in RPG's but it can also fill in for some Warhammer battles between friends who don't mind various representations. -Colin | | | |
