Here's how it works:
1) You must "register", enter your name on this thread.
2) You must paint or modify an uncommon or a common mini (or both)
3) You must post 2 or 3 pictures of the completed minis on the Picture thread (which is directly above this thread).
The challenge is open to anyone who's a maxmini member and who wants to share their painted and/or modified minis.
For this first challenge "1", you get to choose one or both minis to change. The uncommon mini will be the Maug and the common mini will be the Free League Ranger.
The contest started Tuesday, November 21, 2006.
The contest ends, January 20, 2007.
There will be two (2) winners. One, I will select randomly and the other by way of popular vote held secretly via e-mail to me. Anyone who enters can vote and I encourage you to be fair. If your mini is cool but someone elses is cooler, then vote honestly. I will tally the votes and announce the winners on or around January 31, 2007.
(*I will enter 2 minis but I am not eligble to win).
There will be 2 prizes given out:
The winner of the common entry winner will get my repainted Free League Ranger (currently its pix are on the picture thread).
The uncommon entry winner will get my Spider of War mini (shown below in Crafters' Corner).
Besides registration for the event, all questions, answers and photo comments should be placed on this thread and only photos on the Picture thread.
Spread the word around the community!

Nice job! I really like the basing mix and the way the blue cape seems to fade to lighter shades.

I really like the tartan look and the little details -Â like on the front belt banner - nice.
In fact, it's a good thing the dude's not wearing a kilt, I can only imagine what details you may have added underneath !
