What did you fashion it out of?
Cut a litko 40mm base in half then roughed out the edges. The haft consists of a paper clip pin (partly inserted into a hole pin-vised into Maug's hand) surrounded by one of those plastic tubes (that come on brushes to protect the bristles). I filled the tube with greenstuff and slathered on superglue. Final step was pin-vising a hole into each blade and securing the blades to the haft with superglue.

| That Maug looks great. It's been a while since I dropped in here, and I had no idea there was a Maug in a painting challenge. I'm playing in a sealed minis league, using a pair of Maugs, so I decided to give them (my whole team) matching paint jobs. The maugs aren't as good as this one, but with the team they look kinda cool. My team name got changed to "The UnderMaugs" as I am doing so poorly at that too.
Anyway, I'm starting to think of painting some more Maugs after seeing this one. Thanx for the inspiration! | |
