You can see the step-by-step making of the babau here: http://www.hordelings.com/frontend/forums/postView.php?post_id=50105Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting This sculpt is part of my studies at modelling miniatures and I'm very happy with the results. It's a hunter-assassin demon in the D&D world. As you can see on the concept images it has a drippling red substance that covers his entire body, I didn't sculpt that because I'm going to do it after painting the demon using white glue tinted red. I wanted him to look very slim and fragile, but at the same time have a very strong muscular build for his arms. His long claws are the feature I like most. He also uses a lot of bracelets and jewels all over his limbs and head horn. I learned a great deal sculpting him and am very pleased with the result. Your critique and suggestions are always welcome. Thanks for looking!

Very well done.

What material are you modeling with and how tall is he ?

Also, I would like to be able to see closer views, but when I click on the pictures they take me to photobucket and prompt me to log in.  Maybe you could find a way to get a closer picture ?

I look forward to seeing him painted and dripping !

Thanks for sharing,
- Colin

Thanks "Kid", but the I knew to do that and it just took me to a Photobucket log-on page.

However, I just tried again, and this time it worked and I got all my questions answered.
