| An X-acto (or other brand craft knife) with #0 blades. Cut very slowly with controlled pressure and as always be sure the blade is aimed away from you. Downside = high potential for cutting your fingers rather deeply, minis and bases don't always separate cleanly, and craft knife blades become dull fairly quickly.
An alternative (ableit stinky method) is a hot wire. String a very thin piece of wire across two non-conductive prongs. Heat the wire until it's red hot. Use the wire to slice the mini off the base. Downside = intense plasticrack stench, possibility of burning yourself, and if you make a mistake you can severely damage the mini or the base. | | Knight Warlord a.k.a. | | if you have the right minis to sacrifice, some just pop right off the bases. Spider of Lolth, Mad Slasher, um, i recall a bunch of Abberations era stuff being just glued on to the base. | | | |

| I'd say purchasing new bases would be much less time comsuming... and much safer. IMHO it is worth to money.

| | agreed just head down to your closest Games Workshop store or any other store that deals with collectable minatures games, they are shure to have the 30mm round bases you need. | | "Well maybe Mr. T hacked the game and created a Mohawk class! | | Another place for bases is Litkoaero. Excellent laser-cut wood bases that look really good. | | Knight Warlord a.k.a. Commander (#32) in only 6 months. Where's my pie? Champion of Dwarven Thunderlashers Knight of the Large Dire Chicken Have/Want List Trade References | |
