| Again experimenting with freehand patterns. Also not thrilled with how the face turned out in the photos. Camera seems to lose a lot of subtle shading detail on medium minis. Must figure out how to adjust for that.

You must have an incredibly steady hand. Nope. One of my friends is a chain smoker (his hands don't shake, they jump, jive, and wail) and White Dwarf painting award winner. He showed me how to cup my hands in such a way as to hold both the mini and brush. It creates a very stable situation and still allows for virtually unrestricted painting. Hand shakes are reduced to negligible status
