Does anyone know of any websites that feature folks trading/selling/buying miniature bits? For instance, I've got a beholder (Ral Partha's Manxam the Beholder I think) which I just got in trade along with some other metal minis but I don't have a base for it or any of it's eye stalks. Now the base I could care less about since I'll probably do a custom base for him anyways, but I wouldn't mind finding the eye stalks if possible. I'll make them myself if I can't find them anywhere else, but I'd prefer to find the original parts if possible.

I've also got a mimic (bed) that is missing it's eyestalks as well - not sure on the manufacturer of that one. I'm still researching it.

I guess I'm just curious if anywhere exists where people post have/want lists of extra mini pieces.

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.

Thanks for the responses. So far, I've tried contacting Iron Wind Metals but I've had no response as of yet. I'm going to look into the bartertown site too I think.

I'm excited about the mimics. I wish DDM had done one. I just started painting the chest and barrel last night (the bed is soaking in Simple Green to strip the old paint). I'll be sure and post when I finish them. Thanks for the info on them Stephen. I like to label them when I put them into my gallery so folks know which company produced them.

As a follow up, I recieved this email from Iron Wind Metals:

Unfortunately, those are all old TSR license mini's. Ral Partha lost that license more than 10 years ago, and all of the production molds were destroyed...

Bummer...Oh well. I am going to keep looking of course. If I cant find them I'll probably sculpt my own. Either way I'll be sure and post pictures when I'm done with them

I'm not too worried about it. I may try and sculpt something or not. I'm trying my luck over on the bartertown.com site. No bites so far (pun intended of course), but my post has only been up one day.

Though it might be cool if you posted pictures anyways. It is a nice-looking vintage mini, and it's always really nice to see pictures. I've seen the finished mini on a Google search - though initially I thought they were eyestalks instead of mouths. The barrel and chest mimic are really cool too.
