It's true, it is a repainted Copper Dragon.
I was hoping I would see some debate about it's authenticity for a couple of pages before somebody figured it out. Oh well, I should have listened to the guys at the shop who said take the picture with a crappy cel phone cam.

| Since this is my second April Fools Day on maxminis, I am expecting things to be spoofs first, and then maybe believing down the road later. I think the repaint looks quite nice.

| Thanks for the compliments. I will post more pix in the crafters forum, tonight maybe. I have really been wanting WOTC to do a Large Gold, and I'm surprised it has taken 10 sets of minis and we still have not got one. I mean C'mon, this is Dungeons and DRAGONS!!!!
Posting it on April Fools, was a bit to obvious, but then I figured it was the only day that I wouldn't get spanked by WOTC (have they got a sense of humour). It looks like they have their attack halflings scouting out the forums (hi lurkinglidda). | |

Although if you really wanted to fool us, you should have take a more "head-on" picture. That would have obscured more detail that us minis junkies use to distinguish one from another.
And it's moustaches are too small to be a Gold. | |
