Heh, this is like them, to tease us... :) The bit about judges is good, though. This bears out the "building another MTG" feeling.

Well that helps answer a few questions. The tournmys will be judged, and only a store with a judge will get one I bet. So stores will have to decide if they want to pursue this game and get people in playing.

My guess is that low level tournaments will not require a judge, only the "in the money" events will require a judge. This is like FNM. While you need "a judge" you don't need a judge that has passed the test. Only for REL 3+ do you need a judge of a certain level.

I suspect the the weekly in-store sanctioned tourneys will not need a judge beyond Level 1 (which is more store owners or designated employees).
The Edge tourneys will require a more advanced judge.
However, a store with a resident Level 2 / Level 3 judge should be able to increase the K value of their in-store events just by having the Judge present.
I'm ready for the floodgates of information to open - I need to train my brain.
