Having played a few games with the virtual starter i am hooked on this game, one thing i can't seem to find though is the scale of the release. Are release events going to be held in Europe? what are the chances of a 10K or even 1k events? Will europe have the same OP structure as the US or will we have to play 1000 matches to qualify for the 2007 championship?

Those are some great questions for all our brothers and sisters in Europe. As we have several of the designers posting here, maybe we can get some sdolid information. Also, if I remember correctly John Grant is helping with OP, maybe he can shed somelight on this.

I by no means speak for OP, but the impression that I got is that while Wizards will have the game in Europe, the prize support will be directed solely at the United States (even excluding our neighbor to the north, Canada) for the first year. Then based on the success of this first year it will expand the program to include other countries.

Once again, this is just my understanding of things I don't actually speak for OP or Wizards.
