| So, one of the things the folks on this board are REALLY interested in is any cross-use (read: RPG) that Dreamblade minis may provide.
I think I asked a few weeks ago about d20 or other adaptions of the Dreamblade world. So, let's expand on that idea ...
Are there any plans to deploy a supplement giving d20 stats (suitable for D&D RPG use) based on creatures appearing in Dreamblade? I can see easily porting many of these into straight D&D worlds and plenty others as potential candidates for other more specific settings (the Eberron realms of Xoriat and Dal Quor leap to mind).
What is the OGL status in general and long-term intention? I don't see any OGL mentioned (and no surprise here as I'm sure WOTC would want to protect new IP).
If someone were to, for instance, as a fan and community member propose stats and/or post them on a message board or other non-commercial medium, how would that be looked-upon? For instance, perhaps someone created a "Dreadmorph template" to be added to d20 monsters and posted it here, the WOTC boards, ENWorld, etc. What's the WOTC position on this behavior? Encouraged? Discouraged? | |

That is an interesting question and one I wish we had asked while out there. The other point of interest is that there are a few minis that could cross into D&D fairly easily. I know Kiddoc found a few... chain golem, dryad, a statue... so I know some RPGers mihgtb e looking for some singles as well.

| I have a nice sized pile of these sitting at my place and I will say a LOT of them can find a use in RPG. I'm using 2 in the next week in my games.
The bases are roughly 2x2, with the smaller sculpts looking decent on a 1x1. The base is 2 parts so you could snap them apart making a nice 1x1 base with no text. Some black paint on the 2x2 will leave it looking acceptable as well. | |

| | There should be a gallery on http://www.wizards.com/dreamblade with picks. Most figures are the size of larges, with the smaller humanoids being slightly larger then mediums. They would be 7' to 8' tall compared to regular humans. | |
