| Endgame in Oakland will be hosting a release weekend limited tournament for Dreamblade on August 12. A short demo of the game will be run before the event to help people learn how to play. In addition, the rules for the game are available on the WotC site.
Anyone wishing to learn how to play before August 12 can stop by Endgame on any Monday evening (after 6:30 PM and before 9 PM) for a free demo. Ask for John Sugden (who will be busy playing DDM, but will take a break after his current match to give a demo).
For the record, I have passed the Dreamblade judge test and will be a judge for the event.
The cost to enter will be $45 (plus tax). This will get you 1 starter (16 minis - MSRP $29.99) and 1 booster (7 minis - MSRP $14.99) from which to construct your 16 figure warband. Prize support for the event will be 1 booster for every 2 entrants. These prize boosters will be popped open and the contents will be drafted according to tournament results. This is excellent prize support, basically providing each person 1/2 a booster for free (Total MSRP for the play materials - $44.98 - your $0.02 extra is getting you a half booster worth of prize support).
We will be starting registration at 11 AM, with the tournament warband construction to begin at 11:30 AM. Feel free to stop by Endgame on this coming Monday evening for a demo, or come in at 10 AM on the 12th for a demo right before the event. | |

| Wow!!! Cool... I knew that it was not out yet and i know a store that puts product on the shelf as soon as the get it... If i'm driving by and know somthing is coming out soon I like to make a stop.
But they are not known for being cheaper. Guess i lucked out | |
