Are there any pis of figs out there that aren't the master paints? I'm interested of seeing a comparison of the quality of figs compared to DDM (real pics). Has anyone tried converting the base to the standard medium or large size yet? Are there any photos around of this? Cheers, Sam

I don't have pics, but i think the overall quality is much higher than DDM. Also as far as converting, i haven't tried it yet, since i want to play with the figs i have, but inside the base is a second base that is small that the mini is actually attached to, i bet if you poped it out that it would be a medium sized base.

It us nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get the smaller black base off of the larger stat base though... :(

guess you could just cut away the larger base down to the medium size one with a saw or something lol.

I have several, but I'm not going to post them until after I've mailed the CD of them out - I met the brand manager at SDCC, who expressed interest in seeing what I can do. So I'm not sure how much I should show them, but these are very detailed, stylistic pictures.

It marrs up the colored plastic base pretty good but the actual black part of the base that the miniature attaches to is sort of pliable and I think could be workable. Need more testing.
