| What figure is the worst in your opinion based on stats? I think it's the Barbstrider. In this game, any figure that makes your enemies stronger is a bad deal. | | Champion of the Mimic; Knight of the Caryatid Column Called Shots: Unhallowed - Tomb Mote Vindicated Called Shots: Blood Wars - Solar Aberrations 60/60, Deathknell 60/60, Angelfire 60/60, Underdark 60/60, Wardrums 60/60, WotDQ 60/60 | |

| Axemorph Demon, the most expensive spawn cost in the game 12PP and it's inferior in all respects to at least 3 cheaper creatures {Noble Dragon, Dreadmorph Ogre, Eater of Hope} As for the Barbstrider, while I don't rate it as highly as the other 2 point creatures. It's still a bargin. It works very well at the start of the game, when you don't have enough units to stack several in one cell. And is a great unit on turn-3. If your opponent wins initiative & destroys it you get a 3-dice deathstrike. Also a cheap unit to expend for "Appease". | | Don't worry about the current metagame. It doesn't matter if it's ugly, bad, or the best ever. In 2 years time, set rotation will ban everything. | |

| The Barbstrider is actuall very good. Play them as really cheap loner figs then cost you 0 net points and they work great in an aggressive band. The Cannibal is a bit sturdier and works in groups better so often gets played first, but I wouldn't hesitate to use the strider as needed when I want a 4th or 5th 2 drop. My vote for worse is figs like Doomball. For being a one shot fig it isn't nearly aggressively costed enough. Even at 4F his stats aren't playable. Should be a 3F fig.

| Barbstrider - use one of these with three cannibal Pariahs so you can spawn as much as possible early in the game. Rush the barbstrider as far over as possible, then spawn the Eater of Hope and kill the Strider. Axemorph Demon - pair it with ANYBODY with two or more power, and watch what happens when you attack. You can almost bank on the double blade ability. I'd honestly say the Painmonger (dies too fast for his points) or the All_Seeing Mage (If there were enough Janus figures for his warpstrike to be useful). | | Owner of The Original Rust Monsters! | As of set 1:
Doomball Painmonger Steelborn Griffin Shard Troll Prowling Leopardman Screambent Lunatic
Are my nominations for worst figs. Probably in the order listed. They are all pretty unplayable in my mind.

| | Probably because, while Reinforce Valor is cool, he is way overcosted, stats-wise. | | Owner of The Original Rust Monsters! | | The malborn Croc is one of my least favorites. He is disrupted too easily. | | | |

| But he truly is a menace late game when your opponent will be spending the damage points on more worthwhile creatures. The Croc almost never dies. And is always there late game.
The faction which I feel is the weakest is Passion. They just die too easily. Makes the late game struggle for points unmatched.
I feel Passion and madness are too weak to stand on their own like mono Valor and mono Fear can. Passion and Madness have to be mixed with the other two factions to be solid. Just my 2 cents.

| course now I feel stupid - I have never played against a mono madness Janus warp band. All have had valor in them. I have played against strong mono fear though. | | | |

| | Anything that dies when it attacks is pretty much usless IMO. I would have to chime in with Doomball, I also think Jack in the Box pretty much sucks as well. | | More trade references: http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=566273 | |

| I really dislike the Doomball. He gets the nomination for worst. The Screambent Lunatic looks sucktastic. I can't bring myself to run the Skeever.
I actually like the Griffon, he is a dice contributor and while his spawn is dumb the +3 defense over the eagle Feather is a relatively big deal just not really worth the 5 extra spawn. I'll traded mine but wouldn't mind another.
I should hate the Leopardman, but he has been a lucky piece on the rare occasions when I use it. Once he has gotten a Strike back off no one attacks it with less than a combined 6 power. I'll keep using it since I know I'll never trade him.
The Blood Wolf is actually fun, I could care less if he blows up.
The Jack in the Box is kick ass, period. | | Two trades completed!! (Krush,Hides From Hurricanes) Champion of the Aaracokra Herald Of Snig Goblin King | |
