Cannibal Pariah x3
Skull Hill
Treacherous Concubine x2
Jack of Blades x2
Knight of Autumn Gate x2
Blight Rat x3
Ekkyon Wayfarer
Eater of Hope
Dreadmorph Ogre

Basic Hold-the-Line concept. Pair the Rats and Concubines with heavy hitters like the Ogre and Eater, while keeping the Wayfarer nearby. Plant Skull Hill either in the middle of the field or on your opponent's 4-point cell.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks!

Might take out one Pariah for a Barbstrider.  Will get you two creatures instead on one if the first turn initiative roll of five or better.

Also might want to replace one Pumpkin head for a Painmonger.  Since this is a Hellbread themed band.

I know you want mono fear, but two scissors +  Doctor Ape makes this warband smile.

Why take out the Pariah for a Barbstrider? The Pariah is cheaper than the Barbstrider. An initiative roll of 5 or better will still net you at least 2 figures.

My bad.  They are the same cost.  Barb Stirder has a lot of negative to counter-balance his one higher attack rating   You pretty much need to win initiative on turn three to make him worth it over a Pariah, and even then they will get +1 power on their deathblow.  Hmmm... kinda stinky.

I plan to sac my fodder to the pumpkinheads and Eater, so they need to be sturdy enough until I can get the others into play. Barbstrider, just isn't as sturdy as Cannibal Pariah.

Sure, they both get killed as easy, but the Pariah is less likely to be disrupted.

I've found the Zombie Enforcer is a better sub for one of the Pariahs. He is considerably tougher and helps in not wasting that odd 1st or 2nd round low spawn phase point. The extra point is a big deal when it gets a defense boost that allows for survivability (which you'll need for Appease).

Also while it shoots you in the foot for a mono Aspect thing, a Boneblade teamed with a treacherous concubine is brilliant if you start running into irritating Madness creatures like Faceless Stalkers. The Boneblade also fits into the 6 point slot well and benefits from a nearby Ekkyon. While not nearly as sturdy as Pumpkinhead the lack of appease may save your butt if you have some ugly early rounds and lose to many Pariahs. He likes Skull Hill more than most minis as well.

While not a huge issue, with all the Appeasing you will be doing, do you think you can get both of your Fatties out in the same game? I run a similar band, but with a full compliment of Boneblades and an Axemorph Demon, and find I frequently don't get the big guy out till it doesn't really matter. While the Eater is cheaper can he be fielded with the Ogre if all of your weenies don't convert to spawn?
