| Ref the Buzzclaw his ability lets you choose one of your creatures and target an enemy it that cell. His stats are 4/3/4.
The one with mindstrike is Mangler his stats are 8P 7/3/5. The mindstrike is a single blade ability.
The last one is called Bloodcut Behemoth. | | DON'T PANIC | |

| I like the Mindstrike guy. He's frail like an old lady, but 7 power + being an 8 drop will put him into my revolving Hellbred lists. That blade will be interesting to play with, not sure if this would be a sub for the Queen though.
A 7/7/7 Pasion Creature!? Weird. And now loner doesn't suck. (well as much) I do like the Deathstrike ability, but on the second toughest Passion creature we've seen?
The buzzclaw will get played I think. That is a cool ability for latter in the game.
It looks like 2nd set power creep might be setting in. That 3 drop skirmisher from preview 1 is exhibit #1, The Beheamoth will get to be exhibit #2.

| Buzzclaw; Same stats as the Blodthirsty redcap, but without the bloodthirsty liability. So for 2 extra spawn points, your loosing "Bloodthirsty" & gaining a spawn phase attack. The Flameharrower pays 3 for each power-5 attack in the spawn phase. The Buzzclaw is paying less than 2 to allow any creature an "Assault". With flameharrowers, your opponent needs to alter their tactics to deal with 3 creatures which might attack in the spawn phase. With the Buzzclaw, your opponent has to be carefull of every creature in your warband. And the maximum power could be as high as 10 (unsated ragedrake) and if you get a 10 or 15 spawn roll you could "Spur" the same ragedrake several times. | | Don't worry about the current metagame. | Yeah - The Buzzclaw should make an impact. Most bands that drop Passion will be playing with the HBT so high spawns are easier to come by so spawning two will probably be the norm - not sure I'd put in three just because there are so many other good 5 drops across the factions.

Too true {Jack of Blades, Kt.Strife&Joy, Ego Cannibal, Relentless Eviserator} There are a lot of "playable" spawn-5 creatures. And without "Energise", Spawn-5 is a fairly bad number (I restrict most of my warbands to the two that you suggest)
With a HBT, spawn-10 becomes reliable. So I might want about six spawn-5 creatures in an "energised" warband. Also the 3rd buzzclaw would be usefull just to keep my opponent cautious, after I have spawned the first pair.
As I read the Buzzclaw, the creature being "Spured" is not actually attacking. So a Jack-in-the-box or even a Doomball would work with Spur. I doubt thats enough to make the Doomball cost-effective, but it certainly is a step in that direction. And the Jack-in-a-Box was already a strong option for spawn-4. | | Don't worry about the current metagame. It doesn't matter if it's ugly, bad, or the best ever.
