| For those of you with firewalls-
Citadel of Torture 5FF Curse 1 - Whenever one or more local enemies attack, the enemies' controller rerolls one die of your choice
V0 Torture - Sacrifice a local ally, gain spawn points equal to its spawn cost.
Immortal's Resting Place 4PP Local and adjacent allies take no damage from deathblows.
Arch of Triumph 4VV During your spawn phase, you may spawn creatures in this cell if there are no local enemies. (You can't break the stacking limit with this ability.) | | DON'T PANIC

| The Arch is the only one I really see getting much use. A few bands will probably play around with the Resting Place but passion's location of choice will probably still be HBT even after Baxars release.
I certainly may be wrong though - time will tell.

| Yeah, the Arch could see use, especially in a new version of a chessmaster band. A Voodoo Manipulator or Crypt Worm can ensure that the cell is clear of enemies when that critical turn comes in which you really need to spawn into the Arch's cell.
I wonder whether the Citadel of Torture might get some play. No particular combo comes to mind, but you could contemplate some massively expensive and powerful creatures in a band with one of those things--combos you couldn't manage many other ways. Sure, by sacrificing creatures, you end up with less numbers on the board, but everything left can be truly beastly. Might be a red herring, though.
Immortal's Resting Place probably becomes useful if and when there's a way to manipulate initiative to improve your chances of going first in a critical turn. | | "Before God we are all equally wise - and equally foolish." - Albert Einstein Champion of Myopic Half-Orcs Winner, WBC X
