| Hello everyone,
I've released the Vassal mod for Baxar's War. It is available from Dreamblade Vassal Home Page. This module is named "Dreamblade_2-1-1.mod".
The given link takes you to the main page for the mod. On this page, I describe how to change the Vassal default from a single application to multiple windows that can be individually moved and resized. I greatly prefer this view because it allows me to use a larger chat window down the right hand side of my screen. At this point, I have decided against changing the default map to be horizontal instead of vertical. If enough people complain, I can either add a horizontal map or (more likely) change the existing map to be horizontal.
Besides having all the units through Baxar's War, this version of the module includes the ability to save and restore a "deck". Simply put your entire warband on the map, then drag each unit into one of the "deck" areas. Once your entire warband is in the deck, you can right click the deck, and save your warband to your local system. At any point in time, players can load a deck from their system into the map. I believe this gives people the ability to share warbands. Units can be dragged out of the deck one at a time, or, by right clicking the deck, you can pull out multiple units.
