For carrying a waband, the 1.6 litre size "genarraly usefull boxes" seem to be OK.

But I'm having problems storeing my main collection. The larger bases on these things makes the toolboxs I use for ddm miniatures inappropriate.
And with 2 sets to store, dumping them all in one cardboard box is getting too messy.
So I'm currently moving them to a set of transparent plastic card boxes. With a seperate box for all the creatures of a specific spawn cost.

Does anyone have a better suggestion for long term storage of these things ?

Don't worry about the current metagame. It doesn't matter if it's ugly, bad, or the best ever. In 2 years time, set rotation will ban everything.

Hmm - yeah I have the same problem

I keep a few warbands and extra trade rares in a plastic storage box with little drawers in it.  My main collection I have in an actual dresser/bureau type thingy.  Its tall and thin and has 5 drawers and now its almost full.  I think I may need to sell off some of it before the next set comes out in Jan(?).

4 or 5 stackable see-thru plastic boxes might be cool and portable enough to take a collection around in. Or maybe like a plastic file drawer with wheels.  Those come in varying drawer sizes.

Muji sell rather good polypropylene drawers that you could fit your minis in.  Transporting them seems to be best done in some sort of plastic toolbox.  I'll drop the cash for these when I stop forking out my hard earned shekels on flippin boosters.

I personally use 12 quart "Sweater" Boxes. The sterilite version, they're about $2.50 at Wal-mart. One for each faction, per set. So, dour for Base set, four for Baxar's, etc... It may bcome a storage problem in the future, but we'll see. I may consolidate them eventually.
