| The new set isn't legal for tournament play until the 10th.
What band really depends on how you want to play. I prefer lots
of self-movement and aggression, so I play Valor-Passion. If you
like a slower, control type feel, play Fear-Valor. If you want
chaotic and fast, play Madness.
Tell us at least three pieces you'd like top play with and maybe we can help you come up with something.
The most important thing is to be comfortable with whatever band you
choose. There are no bands so good that you can play them for the
first time at a tournament and win consistently.

| I'm going to try to be at Sheffield, smiting all who stand in my way. Baxar's will be legal as the 1k is on 11/11/06, so build with that in mind. What I would honestly say to you is to build a warband you feel comfortable piloting, something that fits your playstyle rather than having just having some warband pulled off the net (just as my buddy Scud-O said there).
If you can give us an incite into your playstyle and what kind of resources you have available perhaps we can help you better. | | | |

| Thank you everyone...
Baxar from the new set seems fun to play with... Something big is good too....
I think the greys are a bit weak... Blue don't have many attack power... Red ones just kill and be kill... Green I am not so sure...
Being so new to the game… basically it’s a learning curve with what to play… I have most figure or I can borrow any….
Really not sure...
What kinda band you guys play with?

| Well, here's what I am testing tonight. It's a small variant on the Passion of the reapers band...
2x Cannibal Pariah 2x Bloodthirsty Redcap 2x Heartsblood temple 2x Scarab Warcharm 2x Fleshless reaper 2x Dreadmorph Ogre 1x Infernal Gothic 1x Heart Thief 1x Voodoo manipulator 1x Thunder Sultan
It has a high spawn curve, maybe even too high for the HBT's. I may have to remove one of the Passion 7-drops for something lower, like Succubus.

| I have been playing the following
2 x Bloodthirsty Recap
1 x Clawclan Scout
2 x Heartsblood Temple
1 x Pearlthorn Castle
2 x Scarab Warcharm
1 x Naga Broodqueen
2 x Lunar Handmaiden
1 x Heart Thief
1 x Infernal Gothic
1 x Angel of Sunrise
1 x Noble Dragon
1 x Unsated Ragedrake
Lots of movement and dice. It's worked pretty well.
