Someone else...

Don't worry about the current metagame. It doesn't matter if it's ugly, bad, or the best ever. In 2 years time, set rotation will ban everything.

How many people were there? Any idea who the top 4 were?

What was the metagame like? Lots of Brighthammer/Kitsune or was it still Temple warbands?

12 Players which was a huge disappointment, plenty of reasons to explain it I expect though that is a different issue.

Metagame was indeed Brighthammer/Kitsune and it is an unpleasant game :-(

Top 4 included Olaf, Steve, Jeremy and Nathan I think. I was 2-2 having lost to Steve and Jeremy both in the top 4.

Having played Kitsune/Hammer myself gotta agree with Rob. Due to the dominance of this combo the game becomes very unpleasant. Well I (Olaf) made 3rd in the end I think.

kitsune/brighthammer is like the black and blue SWM warband of vader/amedda/thrawn. its still unbeatable and everyone is using it.

It is beatable but you have to design specifically for it. In our last edge tournament it didnt win, though some players had decided to try other warbands.

Clearly it is the force you have to beat at the moment.

the latest article on wotc reports that double temple goodness being played by a skillfull player can beat kitsune/brighthammer. but a combination kitsune/brighthammer plus double temple goodness is the current experimental band in my opinion.
