| The Mask Dancer worked surprisingly well as an opening piece. Defender sucks mid game, but it works just fine on a first spawn creature and the attract was nice in round 3.

| | Valor got the short end in this set for once. The only one I really like is the Azika guardian for its bodyguard, defense of 6 and power of 2. The stats make her more playable than our friendly neighborhood 4 drop. | | | |

| Tower of Unquenched Flame gets my vote. Use it with twin Fleshless Reapers and you won't often see enemy creatures in it's cell.
Mask Dancer might be a "sleeper" very good stats for a spawn-4. But needs a better combo than it currently has.
I'll take the Samurai over the Guardian. 2/6/7 is better than 1/5/8 but only about spawn+1 better. Quite often you can play a spawn-4 & something else. While a spawn-6 is probably all you get for the turn. | |
Don't worry about the current metagame. It doesn't matter if it's ugly, bad, or the best ever. In 2 years time, set rotation will ban everything. | |

| The Dragon knight, because I like both Dragons and Knights, and this is both.
The seraph, for it's obvious Bisociation of the Dreamscape.
The twins, because I like the sculpts.
