Hi everyone, I played a demo at my FLGS just yesterday and fell in love with the game because it seemed a lot easier to grasp and more newbie-friendly than a typical CCG. I just had a couple questions.

1) What are the specialty(ies) of each Aspect? I don't want to know what's top tier or whatever because I'd like to stay casual for now, but what does each Aspect generally do?

2) I apologize if this is a dead horse, but is Dreamblade going to fade into obscurity? I read on the official forums that Dreamblade will no longer have OP support, so does that mean Dreamblade with cease to be after its December expansion?

Can't answer your second question (no one can for sure), but as to the first:

Valor (blue) pieces have higher Defense and Life scores, and low Power.  Valor piece blade abilities trend to moving your own pieces around the board.

Fear (green) pieces have average Defense/Life/Power scores.  Their blade abilities often move the opponent's pieces around the board.

Passion (maroon) pieces have high Power and relatively low Defense and Life.  Their special abilities are often geared around spawn points (either getting more of them or using them in various ways); and just straight-up damage.

Madness (gray) pieces have average Power, low Defense, but high Life, so they are easy to disrupt but hard to kill.   They have the "wacky" abilities, and also warpstrikes (the Dreamblade version of a ranged attack).

Nothing has been said one way or another as to the fate of Dreamblade after the Dec. expansion. Maybe that will be revealed at GenCon. I'm sure someone will ask it.

I can say that they had a full two years expansions planned. I expect support to move more grassroots, larger, better edge events, Ipod tournamnets, things like that, that are actually done through the stores, not the Company. If demand grows, there may be a pro tour in the future, but right now, it needs to show its own legs.
