| | 12/08/2007 3:28 PM | Alert | Hi my name's Tony and my brother and I just started playing. We are avid MTG players and figured it out pretty quick. We're only a casual players so we're probably only going to invest in the base set. I already picked up a starter kit and a few boosters so we have enough figures for 2 warbands. I'm playing a Valor/Passion warband while my brother assembled a Fear/Madness warband. He tends to win more because he has 2 fatties that I just can't deal with from what limited figures we have. Any minis you suggest we should pick up from the base-set? We might eventually get into the other sets if more people from our local game store join in.
Look foward to talking more Dreamblade with you all.
Tony

| | 12/08/2007 8:21 PM | Alert | Welcome to Dreamblade, Tony!
A quick run-down of minis you'll want 1 (or 2 or 3) of from the base set:
Brighthammer Avenger Hawk-Eyed Instigator Knight of Strife and Joy Lunar Handmaiden Noble Dragon Pearlthorn Castle Scarab Warcharm Steelborn Lion Twilight Scout Whirlwind Dervish Asylum Escapee Book of Nothing Darkheart Cottage Jack-in-the-Box Pick-Pick Spellbound Scissors Cannibal Pariah Carrion Spiker Dreadmorph Ogre Eater of Hope Ekkyon Wayfarer (only if you plan on picking up some of the ANVILBORN set) Fleshless Reaper Horrid Poltergeist Jack of Blades Knight of Autumn Gate Night Queen Thunder Sultan Voodoo Manipulator Zombie Enforcer Alluring Succubus Axemorph Demon (it just looks so cool) Bloodthirsty Redcap Boneclan Hunter Heartsblood Temple Rainforest Shaman Slaughter Boots
Some other base set pieces get better the more sets you buy (like Ekkyon Wayfarer – with the Infernal Screamer from Anvilborn and the Crypt Worm and Infernal Gothic from Baxar's War, he becomes a must0have piece.)
Also, if you look to the right of the screen, you will see that you can play Dreamblade online for FREE here on the site. It's a great way to meet new players and try out all the pieces to see what you want to buy. If you ever see me here, say, "Hi," and we can play a game!

| | 12/09/2007 7:57 AM | Alert | DItto for me if you see me on. I would give my left....um, you get the idea....to play some dreamblade, but I never do see anyone online anymore. Maybe set a time and a date to meet? Maybe it would be good to set a weekly Dreamblade night so that people know when to show up....(I know we tried this before, but something has to give!)
I am going to try and be on tonight (Sunday, December 9th) at about 8:00 MST (about 10:00 EST)........anyone interested? | | A wand of silence means never having to say you're sorry. CHAMPION OF THE ANNIS HAG!!!

| | 12/11/2007 2:41 PM | Alert | cool we already have some of those. I definately want the scarab warcharm.
That Ekkyon guy does look pretty fun...I was looking at tournament lists on wizards and that hellbred warband with him in it seemed to be the most popular.
That Knight of the Autumn gate is one of the guys my bro uses to crush my little twilight scouts..lol
I'd love to play some games with you guys...just go slow I still get confused on the different blades sometimes.

Idaho. Yes, we have Gamers in Idaho.
| | 04/29/2008 8:08 AM | Alert | If you're still looking for pieces, I have quite a few of those, and I could make you a pretty good deal.
I'd also accept trade for M:tG or DDM/SWM.
DBM really is a great game, I just wish it had more activity, and I had more time.
