| Yes, I know, I have often made snide remarks about wotc and still will when I feel like it, but one recent experience has urged me to make amends to them publically.
I sent back a Gulgar with an arm missing abvout six weeks ago. From my phone conversation to the representant at wizards, all was resolved in a way you expect from great companies, as wizards is. The packaging job for my new Gulgar and a free Warbound Impaler were perfect ( bubble-wrap, right-sized box, card in a quality holder and inside a separate enveloppe, etc ). I feel compelled to type back the letter that accompanied the miniatures ( that are both for trade...I know...shameless self-promotion ). Also note, this was a War Drums mini, long after release.
Hello! Thank you for taking the time to write to us. Enclosed you will find replacements for your defective products. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you. I have enclosed a little something extra for your time and patience in this matter. Thanks, and have a great day! If you have any questions or comments please feel free to call, write or email us. Sincerely, ( signature ) Luke Johnson Product Fulfillement Coordinator Wizards of the Coast
Wizards are first-class all the way.
P.S: I decided to post this in general since WotC also makes SWM and DM minis.

| Very nice. Â
A quality response from a quality company. Way to go WotC!Â
Any thing less would have been a shame. Â

| | I will have to admitt, I've take a few pooks at WotC. But that was darn fine of them | | "Well maybe Mr. T hacked the game and created a Mohawk class! Maybe Mr. T is handy with computers! Had that ever occurred to you Mr. condescending Director!" | |

| Yups, I had a great experience too and serviced by that Luke Johnson fellow.
He's really pleasant and sent my Dooku all the way back to me in Malaysia with first class mail and in a huge box full of styrofoam beads. If I'm paying extra for quality service like that, I'm always more than happy.

| Hello,
I have had three defective/broken/missing card minis during the run of DDM. Each time I have recevied the same treatment as indicated at the top of this thread. While WotC does have some problems, Customer Service is generally not one of them in my experience when it comes to replacement of product.
Cheers

On a less snarky note, with defective product problems (well, products Wizards actually recognized as defective - like the ripped Hellspikes) I've had good customer service from Wizards.

| | Today I'm sending back to WotC an Aspect of Bahamut which has one foot detached from the base. This is the 5th mini I've sent back. Defective minis do seem to have increased in frequency lately. I don't recall finding any defective minis before War Drums. | | | |
