| | Meh, if they want to know who the ultimate gamer is, they could just ask Qucalion....perhaps I shall. | | The year: 1994. From out of space comes a runaway planet, hurtling between the Earth and the Moon, unleashing cosmic destruction! Man's civilization is cast in ruin! Two thousand years later, Earth is reborn... A strange new world rises from the old: a world of savagery, super science, and sorcery. But one man bursts his bonds to fight for justice! With his companions Ookla the Mok and Princess Ariel, he pits his strength, his courage, and his fabulous Sunsword against the forces of evil. He is Thundarr, the Barbarian!

| I found out after taking the test this weekend that I am not, as I supposed, the ultimate gamer. I am guessing I got about half of the questions right, if that many. For all I've played D&D I got a couple of those answers wrong, especially if it related to a specific setting (as I've only done homebrews since day 1) and versions. I did better on the board game and video game questions.
It's sad too, as I was thinking of cool things to do in the video you are required to make during Round 1! Oh well, maybe they'll change the advisory board once a year or so and give people a fresh shot every so often.

| It was only available over the weekend.
You've got to tune in this weekend if you want to play, as step one will be a multiple choice test that is only available between Friday and Sunday. 30 questions, 15 minutes, and you only get one shot at it.
I wonder how many other people were initially interested in the Gleemax ARG, but were driven away by the bizarre postings on the Gleemax section of the WotC boards, and ended up missing out on the chance to take the test?

| | I game, playing DnD everytime I get a chance. When it comes to DDM, well, I haven't played since 2005... What qualifies for an ultimate gamer? | | Just a simple traveler from the swamps of Dagobah otherwise known as Florida. Also known as Hurricane Alley! I always try to send through delivery confirmation, and I expect the same. It's only 55 cents extra, so it's just a little more than a pay phone call, so just do it for the Kai. I prefer to trade with people in the US and Canada, sorry everyone else. http://www.maxminis.com/Forums/tabid/104/forumid/53/postid/655406/view/topic/Default.aspx - references | |
