I have joined to advise my fellow gamers worldwide to please be careful if considering purchasing items from Battleworks.net

In my experience with this pair of clowns, they have proven to be completely unreliable and quite possibly the most unhelpful pair of @#!!*ers I have had the misfortune of dealing with on-line.

I was notified over a month ago by the Royal Mail that they were in receipt of returned goods, yet they fail to acknowledge this little fact and have renaged on the refund.

These amateurs are liars and thiefs. Do not trade with them.

Also, if you are based in the UK, AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They are not EU shopper friendly and will declare false information on their item description so that you incurr a very large HM Customs Charge and Royal Mail handling charge.

I had a parcel containing miniatures valued at $60, yet these clowns marked the parcel as containing goods valued at $190. This meant a charge of $58 !!!

I also had a parcel valued at $120 turn up at my door almost 3 months after the date I originally placed the order.

Their postage and packaging to the UK is designed so that they make a 100% profit on P&P.

To date, I am owed about $80 from them for returned goods, but I receive no answer to my emails.

They are offensive and arrogant in their emailings and their cutomer service is non-existant!

I have found a very reliable source for miniatures here in the UK that ship overseas and are reasonably priced.

www.theorderofinitiative.co.uk

In summing up Battleworks.net, please do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs!

Kind regards,

MMM

In general we ask that you keep your comments about other members here strictly factual and avoid making personal attacks. Calling people "amateurs", "liars", "thiefs", and "arrogant" probably constitutes a personal attack and therefore I'm going to lock this thread. Battleworks is a member here at maxminis that goes by the handle of "bw" and possibly other names.

That said, you're welcome to post about problems you've had with sellers or other traders, but we ask that you keep the information posted strictly factual and avoid making personal attacks. You may feel free to repost this warning, sans the insults, in the marketplace forum and/or the references forum. You can find those here:

It's worth noting that I have also had negative dealings with Battleworks through Ebay. Some of you may remember that my problems with him were the subject of a long thread here at maxminis back in 2004. Once I posted the problem here, things were sorted out within a few weeks, but I was not happy with the amount of time (several months) and the poor communication involved in the sale.
