Well, I went out yesterday and got myself 2 cases of the Starships game.  I also got a starter for the game as well.

It's a pretty cool game.  simple, easy to learn and rather fun.

The only real gripe I have is that most of the ships are bent or warped in some way. the plastic they used is more like rubber.   I did my boiling water/ice bath trick and most of the ships straightened right out and are good now.

I've got a fine collection of X-wings and TIE Intercepters.  I only have 4 TIES.  two regular ones, and 2 ACEs.  Oh well.  The online stores will have singles soon.Â

I will be there saturday to show off the game in the tourney.  I won't be playing in it, but I will be running it.  Since I know the majority of the rules during my testing, and such, it'll be a snap!

The 2 inch grid isn't a bad thing after all...Â

Go starships!

I noticed that straightening is more difficult, especially with x-wings where there's 4 wings with guns pointing out and you should get them all straight

Btw, don't be scared when you go to seek for TIE's - everywhere I've seen them they've cost $2/piece. If you want cheap fighter swarms, go for clone wars...
