Does the New World have currents similar to Earth's? On Earth the typically moves clocwise above the equator and counter clockwise below it. The dead zone or doldrums occur at the equator where there is little wind.

I ask because this can flesh out trade, how people travel, or unusual climate conditions in places.

Also everyone is doing great on this wonderful project.

A hard question to answer do to the shape of the main land mass.
I would assume so, but how the currents actually fall I am not sure.

I would like to know also because it will effect prevaling winds. This will affect my Empire.

One of the biggest advantages Zohran sailors have is the ablity to tack closer to the wind and this will be a common tactic to avoid fights where they are out matched.
