It's not anything new.
Although I still kinda like 2nd edition artwork more than 3e... Like the god summoned monster, tarrasque. Or the original ogre, kobold, kender, should I go on? This is nothing new. Every edition makes major artwork changes. | |

Too dinosaur like for my tastes. As is, the leg structure is all wrong, knee bends back like a humanoid, not forwards like a raptors.
And the torso should be more horizontal
Personnally I'd prefer it to look like a veloceraptor with a club.
And then they could call it a "Cave-dwelling-raptor" not a "Troglodyte".
