Allright I'm going tostart this thread up so we can clairify some some of the more muddied rules in 4th ed.

Here's my first query

Hit points, at first level you add your con to your starting hitpoints.  Now at second level and above are you adding you class hitpoints to you con modifier, or do you just get class hitpoints every level?

Pathetic Earthlings. Hurling your bodies out into the void - without the slightest inkling of who or what is out here. If you had known anything about the true nature of the universe - anything at all - you would have hidden from it in terror.

My understanding is that you only get your fixed number of class HP. Don't add your CON mod.

[EDIT] - The only time CON affects HP's after level one is if you increase your CON score.

I dont mind butting heads every once in a while. It makes thing interesting. Thats why I'd be heartbroken if Ghendar ever left - Posted By Count Dooku on 04/03/2006 11:58 AM

That is correct. The only time you add anything to the listed hit points is at first level.

If apply the bodyguard template to a creature, then decide later that I also want to apply the fighter class template do I re-add the Con score to the hit point total, or do I just take the 10 hp increase that it gives?

If I kill off a 5th level party with only 3 kobolds that were based off Spartans, have I failed or succeeded at my job as a DM?
