| Has anyone yet done any comparative list about what's missing from 4E MM compared to 3.5 MM? Or things that are really different...
What I've already missed when searching is: -Centaur -Cockatrice -Metallic Dragons -Clay & Iron Golem -Erinyes is gone, Succubus Devil -Dryad is so different... Nymphs, Pixies, Sprites etc. gone -Elementals as we knew them are gone; There's Archons and strange Dual-elementals...
And what's significantly different - Balor's huge; Not sure yet if it's become much more powerful - Lamia's totally different, probably much stronger too.
My mind is still so set on 3.5 bestiary and I'm gm'ing 3E based campaign, so it would be great to have some kind of list of stuff that isn't in MM so it doesn't come by surprise in the middle of the game...
Any favourites in new (in basic MM) creatures?

| Don't forget Stone and Cloud Giants. They got the axe, too.
And how could you forget Rust Monsters?
As for new favorites... I don't see very many that I don't recognize as reimaginings of monsters from 3.5 sourcebooks. One that I don't recognize, however, are the Swordwings, and I rather like them. Humans being in the MM is also a very good thing. I also like the elemental Titans, the Kruthiks, the Dracoliches, Eye of Flame Beholders, the Archons, Helmed Horrors, Hooked Horrors, and several other things. | | Completed trades: Brenigin, desiderata, HockeyFan, MikeyChraal, Raland, GuJiaXian

| | Just noticed a major change. Minotaurs now default to medium size (only minotaur savages are large). I wonder what impact that will have on DDM. | | Knight Warlord a.k.a. I was thinking about stock up on those (only have 2 and 1 from the Basic Game 2). Now, I will see what comes and trade off my extra AR one. | | Originally posted by Schooly_D Username - he deals in minis Champion of Lhesh Haruuc Shaarat'kor | |

| | I wish that they had put the Poison Dusk Lizardfolk in, since they included Blackscale. Though I have to admit it's nice to see the Phoenix get some love again and show up in the first MM. | | If I kill off a 5th level party with only 3 kobolds that were based off Spartans, have I failed or succeeded at my job as a DM? | |

Perhaps the lizardfolk with the blow darts is taking the PDL's place. I don't remember it's size though, but I'd love to get that one as a mini. | | Originally posted by Schooly_D Username - he deals in minis Champion of Lhesh Haruuc Shaarat'kor

| | I don't see the mighty tarrasque or Solar. | | Just a simple traveler from the swamps of Dagobah otherwise known as Florida. Also known as Hurricane Alley! I always try to send through delivery confirmation, and I expect the same. It's only 55 cents extra, so it's just a little more than a pay phone call, so just do it for the Kai. I prefer to trade with people in the US and Canada, sorry everyone else. http://www.maxminis.com/Forums/tabid/104/forumid/53/postid/655406/view/topic/Default.aspx - references | |

| | Tarrasque is there on page 13 under Abominations. It took me awhile to get use to the new one, but in the end after reading his stats over and over again and seeing how he worked I slowly started to like it. It's not as.....Overpowered, I guess is what I want to say, but It is not a push over either. | | If I kill off a 5th level party with only 3 kobolds that were based off Spartans, have I failed or succeeded at my job as a DM? | |

| Poison Dusk seem to have gotten the axe for now. The Greenscale Darter is medium. Poison Dusk are small.
I would love to see the Greenscale Darter and Greenscale Marsh Mystic as DDM sculpts in the near future, though. Excellent artwork | | Knight Warlord a.k.a. Commander (#32) in only 6 months. | | The Mystic would be awesome, I would also like more Dinosaurs(Behemoths) so I can have my lizardfolk riding them into battle....that and the Warhammer Lizardman Warrior on the Carnosaur is always imposing. | | If I kill off a 5th level party with only 3 kobolds that were based off Spartans, have I failed or succeeded at my job as a DM?
