| of course, just like 3.5 cranked out all the 3.0 books, which cranked out all the 2E books... There will be new ones, as well, but of course they are going to revisit themes like that.

| For me, there are only 4 iconic classes (that have been in every edition of D&D/AD&D): Fighter, Cleric, Rogue/Thief, Wizard/Magic-User For that matter, I see only 4 iconic classes: Human, Dwarf, Elf, Halfling
These classes and races are all there, so I'm happy.
I don't think that Barbarian, Sorcerer or Monk can really be called Iconic. I'd challenge that Illusionist is more of an Iconic class histroically than Sorcerer.
I'm happy enough, getting these classes in a future book. I think we have all of the "essential" classes and races in the first PHB. | | - Mobius Champion of the Duergar | |
