| So, with the dearth of PrC's, will we see more base classes instead?

| You are really trying to up your thread started count aren't you?
But seriously, we should be getting new classes with each new PHB and Campaign Settings. | | Originally posted by Schooly_D Username - he deals in minis Champion of Lhesh Haruuc Shaarat'kor

| | I was tempted to start a thread that dealt with this, but I think it would work well here too. On Youtube, there were some interviews with Rob Heinsoo and James Wyatt about the core rulebooks, and each of them hinted at some of the new classes (and also races) that would be in the PHB2, by saying only the first letters of them. I think it would be fun to guess what they are here. I'll be posting a link to the video and mention what the letters are in my next post. I renember three of them being B, D and S, but I forget any others that were mentioned. | | Trade references: http://www.maxminis.com/Forums/tabid/104/forumid/53/postid/801085/view/topic/Default.aspx Trades on WotC: vandyfry, hothie. | | Paragon Paths and Epic Destinies, methinks. Maybe a few more base classes, too, but I'm thinking we'll jut get a bunch of Paragon Paths and Epic Destinies for the new classes, instead. | | Completed trades: Brenigin, desiderata, HockeyFan, MikeyChraal, Raland, GuJiaXian | |

| Barbarian, druid, monk, and psion are all referenced as future classes in the PHB. If there's been a hint for a class starting with "S" I'd guess sorcerer (although they'd have to go to great lengths to make sorcerers different enough from wizards to justify the page space).
I'd rather see a few (emphasis: few) base classes added periodically with more attention paid to fleshing out paragon paths and epic destinies.
Granted, there are already enough options in the PHB for character builds that I doubt I'll be desperate for more options for at least a couple of years. | | Knight Warlord a.k.a. | | I don't see why a player can't have a PC gnome now; the stats are in the back of the monster manual. Heck, you could play any monster with stats in the back of the monster manual. | | Originally posted by Schooly_D Username - he deals in minis Champion of Lhesh Haruuc Shaarat'kor

| I agree with Username, the races are really open, just use the MM blocks.
