| Apparently, Rav managed to get a sneak-peak at a prototype miniature appearing in one of the future sets (not necessarily in WotDQ):
The name of the miniature and what he could say about it:
Spawn of Tiamat
What Rav could say about it:
"I can say two things:"
1: it looked really f*n cool
2: it was black
I asked if it was unpainted (like the bag o minis back in Archfiends):
"Painted."
"But proto."
It could be a Black dragon spawn.
However, before any of you monsterphiles go digging through a book, desperate to find the stats first. Don't.
This monster is an exclusive sneak hint from Monster Manual IV.

| I think we already knew that the various Tiamat spawn from Red Hand are appearing in MM IV (see the Red Hand of Doom thread on the Roleplaying forum.)
If it is black, it is probably a 'blackspawn raider' from that module. | |

Spawn of Tiamat are in RHoD but no book yet. And Shoe mentioned they will be in MM4.
So everything is old news...except thats its been made into a mini. :)
I wonder if Spawn of Tiamat is a template or a spacific monster. (I havent read RHoD) | |

| "Spawn of Tiamat" is probably a template, although it isn't spelled out in RHoD exactly what it does because they don’t provide the template, only creatures that already have it applied. You can see the Blackspawn Raider (based on a humanoid of some kind), a Bluespawn Thunderlizard, and Greenspawn Razorfiend (based on dinosaurs?) from in the pdf at the link above.
It looks like:
Gain the dragonblood subtype
Gain Darkvision 60 ft and low-light vision
Gain DR 5/magic
Gain Dragon immunity appropriate to type
Gain Breath weapons and/or special abilities by dragon type
Basically just a lot of speculation on my part.
