I have several SW minis that have bent lightsabers. Is there a good way to straighten them out?

Submerge the mini in HOT water.

Bend into proper shape.

Submerge the mini in COLD water.

the hot/cold water method should work. But I could be wrong since I don't know if it is the same type plastic for clear work.
