| Shoe, Part Deux (LOTS of info):
- Shoe could not confirm the presence or absence of draconians in WDQ
- There will be at least one LG mini in WDQ that fills the heavy beater role (note that this doesn't strictly mean it will be a heavy beater - it could be something similar to the JA)
- Number of uniques per set should be 2-3, and they will be limited to truly classic D&D characters
- Right now, Tiny sculpts are too complex to make them Common. This may change in the future
- Arcane Ballista was the most difficult WD mini to playtest
- There will be resculpts, but they'll have different skirmish stats and/or class levels (hypothetical example: Fire Giant Cleric)
- The number of themed minis is higher in WDQ than in other sets so far; more than 1/4 of the minis are dragon-themed
- "a template is one good way of modifying a dragon if we wanted to rerelease one and make it more viable for skirmish. I wouldn't expect something like that this year, and I can speak to what's beyond that."
- No non-random mini packs are currently being planned (Shoe quoted Merric's Law)
- "Ghendar: will we see another umber hulk anytime soon? Shoe: Umber Hulks sure are hard to come by. I want to make sure everyone is able to get a reasonable umber hulk or d-beast.. not necessarily as an uncommon, but a rerelease would be cool. I can't promise anything as to what specific time."
- No "best of" set is currently planned, but there'll be resculpts of classic monsters recurring "at a steady pace" in future sets
- WDQ huges are numbered like regular minis, and the set list "may start with a huge"
- WDQ non-huge distribution: 1R, 2U, 4C (18/16/14) "commons are still evenly distributed, and math is fun"
- they are trying to design sets with synergy, or have a creature type be prominent to set the theme

| | Hmm, seems more and more likely you will get either a huge rare or a huge large or smaller in each WoTDQ booster, but not the chance of a Rare huge and a rare large or small in the same booster. | | | |

- (about translucent plastic) "some of the art guys are convinced that fire looks good when you can see through it, but I can see it being used for things like brilliant energy weapons, things made of liquid, stuff like that. incorporeal creatures would be cool, like a ghost or something (though we've got a ghost already..)
- the format for qualifiers has not been determined yet and is being discussed
- "I sure wish we could do a yugoloth this year."
If #1 isn't a strong hint of a clear plastic Water Elemental in WDQ, I don't know what is. | | Hypethetical Blood War Set List | Champion of the Gelugon | Vindicated Prophet of Blood War Ha 69/80 | De 60/60 | Ar 57/60 | GoL 72/72 | Ab 60/60 | DK 60/60 | AF 60/60 | UD 59/60 | WD 57/60 | WDQ 3/60| BW Total DDM Count: 1037 | No chance of finishing the set | Will finish the set | Set

Sammael, thanks for the nice summary. I look forward to a lot of the things mentioned. Namely, clear plastic, icons, and Dragonlance. | | Over 270 successful online DDM trades.

| It's very weird living vicariously through other folks that I don't even really know. I'm very appreciative of all the info, leaks, rumors, pictures, etc. that we're getting. Keep 'em coming.
If I were there, I'd forget what questions I wanted to ask, such would be my excitement. So, it's no surprise that I can't think of any from here either.

| when asked about warforged in future sets ,since we got 4 in wardrums, shoe responded "we may have had our fill of warforged for a short time - it would have to be a unique situation I think for another one to come out in the next couple of sets".
Now it probably wishfull thinking on my part but you could read this as meaning the only warforged in the next few sets would be a unique.... and theres only one unique warforged right now The Lord of Blades.

Ian sounded like he was ready to support the championship, so maybe you should try contacting him directly (if you haven't already).

This says we already got our uncommon true giant for 2006("we're set on giants this year"). Barbarian Hill Giant - WD. Any other giant UC for the year would be technically giants as in an Ogre, troll, or non-true giant.

I took from the quote that it might not actually by a LG piece, but another piece that could either be brought in by commander effect, or perhaps a LG/LE or LG/CG piece.
